About Me

Artist Bio
Brandon Lopez is a documentary photographer and visual storyteller with nine years of experience capturing compelling narratives centered on social advocacy. His work explores themes of community resilience, justice, and identity, using photography as a tool for amplifying marginalized voices.
Brandon has collaborated with organizations such as The First 72+ in New Orleans, documenting the re-entry journeys of formerly incarcerated individuals, and Somidoun Seattle, where he has visually chronicled local protests advocating for Palestinian rights. As a teaching artist with The Good Foot Arts Collective, he has mentored youth in using photography as a means of self-expression and activism.
His background in project-based work extends from documentary coverage of social movements to architectural photography, where he has applied his visual expertise in both commercial and advocacy-driven contexts. Through his lens, Brandon seeks to challenge perceptions, foster dialogue, and create imagery that serves as both an artistic statement and a call to action.
